Spring Beginner's League
Ready to take your game to the next level? Our Spring Beginner’s League is designed for newer players who know the basics and are ready for more consistent play, a little friendly competition, and the fun of being part of a league.
This six-week series is the perfect next step after Mahjong 101 or Guided Play. It’s built for players who are ready to strengthen their skills through real gameplay, settle into the rhythm of the game, and gain confidence week after week—all in a welcoming environment designed specifically for newer players.
Unlike a formal lesson, League is about playing. You’ll be seated with fellow players at a similar stage, giving everyone the chance to learn through repetition, build confidence, and enjoy the game without the pressure of keeping pace with longtime players.
And because a little competition makes everything more fun, we’ll keep things lively with weekly standings, lighthearted prizes, and plenty of reasons to come back each Tuesday.
More than anything, Beginner’s League is about building momentum. It’s a chance to sharpen your game, make Mahjong part of your routine, and look forward to something fun each week.

Each week, you’ll rotate tables, gain exposure to different playing styles, and build both your strategy and confidence.

improving your game, building consistency, and creating meaningful connections within the House of Sparrow community.
