Our Fall League is a six week league designed for beginner, intermediate and advanced-intermediate players who know the basics and are looking for more consistent play, a little friendly competition, and the fun of being part of a league.
Whether you've recently completed MAHJ 101, attended Guided Play, participated in Open Play, or simply want more opportunities to play, this league offers the perfect way to sharpen your skills, build confidence, and enjoy four summer evenings around the Mahjong table.
Unlike a formal lesson, League is about playing. You'll be seated with fellow players at a similar stage, giving everyone the opportunity to learn through repetition, develop strategy, and become more comfortable making decisions at the table.
And because a little competition makes everything more fun, we'll keep things lively with weekly door prizes, league standings, and awards for our top finishers.
More than anything, Fall League is about building confidence, improving your game, and spending six fun fall evenings with fellow Mahjong enthusiasts.

What to Expect
Over the course of six weeks, players will gather weekly at The Jade for organized, timed play in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Players are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy dinner and drinks before play begins or order throughout the evening. The Jade offers a wonderful menu, delicious cocktails, and a beautiful atmosphere that makes League Night something to look forward to each week. We will be playing in the private room in the back of the restaurant.
All games will follow National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) rules, with each round timed. If no player achieves Mahjong by the end of a round, the game will be considered a wall game.
Each week, you'll rotate tables, experience different playing styles, and continue developing both your strategy and confidence.
We'll celebrate friendly competition throughout the league with:
